DSLR limitations

In my research I have learned that the DSLR has recording time limitations.
Are there any other limitations I should be aware of? I plan on using it to make films and treat it like a camcorder.

If you plan on treating it like a camcorder, use a camcorder instead. Aside from tech stuff like rolling shutter, moire problems, recording limits etc, you won't have basic things like decent link audio, zoom (unless you have a good constant aperture lens), timecode, image stabilisation (again, unless you get a lens with it).
Wrong tool for the job it sounds like...

dont treat it like a camcorder...aint gonna work. treat it like a film camera. Record sound separately...lens changing, ND filters (external) to control exposure ect. The recording time limit is only specific to some cameras.
