DSLR firmware hack -- long exposures in video mode!?

[robinsonirwin]

At NAB this year maybe?

[Gillvane]

Very cool! Someone hire these hackers and put this cool stuff in the DSLRs.

[zijital]

I'm kinda guessing that it was done in post & the tech is just an April fool's joke.

[Oller Visuals]

Yeah... that was done in post. LOL.

[Gillvane]

Yeah... that was done in post. LOL.

I know how to do it in post and don't want to. I'ts a pain in the ass.

[visugeek]

Lots of post. There is an old school pre-digital optically printed film with similar effects here:

Heh... looks like the innards of a random computer mouse. But I love the effect when used with control. The few shots from the Rihanna video "Where have you been" did this really well....

[Egg Born Son]

I don't care about the tech, real or not. I just want to learn parkour to go on the real life mario!

[robinsonirwin]

Haha, love the feedback. I posted this video as an april fools joke.
Gillvane -- It was done in post and it WAS kind of a pain in the ass. I used the roto brush in after effects to make everything happen. And legrevedotcom -- Nice catch... it's a computer mouse
Thanks for watching guys.
