I've been asked to shoot a run and gun style documentary where I'll be moving very quickly inside and outside of buildings and there will probably be a lot of filming inside in front of windows. It'll be very fast paced and I'll never have time to light (with exception of maybe some on camera lighting) or do a second take. I've played around with DRS briefly in the native codec for another project a few months ago and chose to not use it due to how noise can look blocky in AVCHD. Has anyone used DRS while recording to an external recorder? Does it look any better?
