Hey folks; I've started to get dropped frames on my DVX100A clips every time I start a new clip. After the dropped frames, it records without dropped frames for the rest of the clip. But then when I stop the camera and start it up again for the next shot, I get dropped frames in the first few seconds of the new clip. I'm using the best Panasonic minidv tape and I only have about 30 hours on my camera. Any ideas on what's happening and how I can correct it? I don't have time before my next shoot to send the camera out for repair (or cleaning) and I'm reluctant to use cleaning tape on the camera. Please help. Thanks. Henry mindfulproductions.com
