I've shot some footage with a gh2 at 720p60 that I've logged and transferred via FCP. When I play it back, I keep getting an intermittent dropped frames message and the playback is jittery. When I simply open up the quicktime files with quicktime, they playback fine. I double checked the sequence settings and they match the clip settings. I don't have any problems with 1080p footage and fcp. What's going on here!?

What pro res version did you transcode to?
What are your sequence settings, FCP version number, Mac, and what dedicated scratch disc are you using? Is it FW800 or eSATA? How much RAM?

Switch to a fast external FW800 7200 rpm drive.
Boot drive should not be used to capture and edit from.
