Dropouts ..cleaning?

Seems like I'm getting a lot of dropouts. No red x though but playing back footage there is just way too many dropouts.

What should I do? Where do I send the camera? A DVX 100A?

Well after lots of research and investigation I determined my problems were deck related not camera. So that's a relief but now I need a new deck which isn't a relief.

Well after lots of research and investigation I determined my problems were deck related not camera. So that's a relief but now I need a new deck which isn't a relief.

An inexpensive $300-$350 mini-dv camera, like Canon, Panasonic or JVC works fine as a capture device for any NLE. No need to buy a $1000+ deck for this purpose.
