Drop frames with only 3 layers of Prores422?

Yes with 3x2TB drives we hit the 340MB/s on the internal raid. No more dropped frames.
External raid 0 setup (4x2TB in OWC Mercury elite RAID enclosure) didnt deliver what we expected; stuck around 180 MB/s. OWC support team thinks we have a defective raid card controller, we'll see if we can hit the advertised max. 240MB/s speed once we get our new controller.

Way back on August 18th, I indicated that I soft raided two Seagates on my machine and got 205/195 MB/s read write.
That's with 500 GB Seagates.
I get even higher rates with the 1 TB drives. There are reports of little latency using a soft raid, but it works real well.
