That picture would be PERFECT if you simply reduced the neck to a more elegant and feminine slender form. Just saying you'd make it from an A to an A+ in my book.

yeah, I noticed that today ... I hadn't looked through any of my drawings in years. This one is probably 8 years old. I should definitely edit that

Duuuude. Cool stuff. BTW you might want to re-up that pdf... it's got some private info you might not want floating around the interwebs. Not sure, just trying to look out for ya.

Yeah mostly at the top, just kill that one line.

Great stuff Timur, I really liked the Violin, George Washington, Wood Spine Fish one, and well there was a bunch.

SadMax, great stuff. I was never very good at technical, precision was never my strong suit. The last ones remind me of Blade Runner, awesome!

Kyle, that's one of my favorite scenes in LOTR-ROTK, chokes me up every time.

My problem is a virtual inability to execute anything that isn't precision technical work...

...re: Blade Runner...good eye. That's the interior of the Ennis house in Los Angeles, which was used in very small part in the film.

Oh hell thanks guys forgot about htat... it was part of my Application to Bard Graduate program...

Haven't sketched in years really.

This was from a magazine image that my Nephew liked when he was into Warhammer.
I sketched it for him and his Mom had it blown up and dry mounted. The original that I sketched was very small in comparison to the poster.
This pic was snapped from the blown up poster image. The flash kind of washed it out a bit.

I painted this freehand on my other Nephew's wall many years back. It was about 6 to 7 feet wide!
Both photos don't really do them justice but they are all I have.

Timmy - that link wouldn't work for me?

SadMax - love the work, but I'm a little nervous about all the weaponry. Are you sure you're working on the set of "House" and not for Homeland Security, CIA or ATF? yeah, you're not foolin' anybody, I got my eyes on you!

There have been a lot of shows and clients who want the weapons...gotta keep the customers satisfied...

Back in '99 I bought the book, "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" and I fiddled with drawing a little bit. These two skteches are the only drawings that made the move to SoCal. The first is my left hand.

The 2nd sketch was done by covering the paper with graphite first, I then used an eraser to bring out the image. Sort of drawing backwards.

Each one took maybe an hour, (hour and a half including touch-ups).

Very life like. How do you get that line sketch effect? Is that actual pencil strokes or part of the canvas material helping out?

//Pencil strokes I see. Looks amazing.

You should make a time lapse video of one of your sketches. A PITA I know but it would be cool to watch.
