Drama-Fest Information

Actually i think thats a good idea. Like instead of having a main name called Eric, jesus, bob, jackson, whatever. You should have a certain animal in it / or play a main character.

Luckily for me, my families pup is a freaking loony, and unluckily my dog died. So I'd be out If that were the case anyway. Ha,
 
Okay, I read through a good portion of this thread, and didn't see this asked (probably missed it).

We don't have a well defined CENTRAL character. There's really two that are sharing about the same load ... so will it matter which one we call Eric or Erica? Just don't want the potential for DQ because folks interpret the one we named Eric/Erica as the supporting vs. lead.
 
No problem, Norm--since both characters are central, just pick one.

Cool beans, thanks! Since folks are going to know that RebeccaD is starring in both mine & 235 Studios' film, individually, I didn't want her to have to play the same character name twice, which would look a little silly on her resume. :grin:
 
You can, but you'd have to have them both in the scene and refer to them without any dialog between them. eg. Er... Ic... you both know what to do...
 
Mine has a character named Berica_S whose head explodes when asked about the 4 millionth possible way to name a character Eric and / or Erica.

I mean, er, if I was doing one that is. :)
 
Yeah Barry_Green and I are entering our 90 min feature and we're just gonna play it at 15X speed.

EDIT: (that math is right, right? 90min / 15 = 6min)

If you drink 2 bottles of cough syrup before you watch it it appears to play at normal speed.
 
How's that going, by the way? Is there a script already? What phase of the process are you guys at right now, JDS?

Not sure how much I can say right now, except that we are still considering material.

Really want to start with the perfect script that's a great, well crafted story that both resonates for me as director and meets Barry's needs as a producer.

In short, a a well made script that we both more than just like "OK".
