Dr70d hdmi triggering?

Does anyone know if the A7II supports hdmi triggering? I'm thinking about getting a tascam dr70d which starts recording when I start recording on the camera...IF it supports hdmi triggering.

The dr70d doesn't have hdmi, in or out so it's not going to start recording when you hit rec in camera. The hdmi trigger recording only works with hdmi recorders (as in "video" recorders) like atomos, convergent design or video devices...

My mistake. It's the tascam 701d or something like that that has hdmi triggering.
