DP w/DVX-100 sought for short

First off there is no pay or rental fee, so if that's not your thing, I apologize, but that's the way it is.

I am a member of Group 101 Films (www.group101films.com), a short film collective, and am looking for a DP with the AGDVX-100 for my latest short here in Los Angeles.

The story is about a young man facing personal crises during a night on magic mushrooms.

Planning three night shoot on and around Dec 8th; using full-moon light for exterior night shots.

One of my shorts aired on AMC for their Monster Fest this past Halloween.

MONSTER SHORTS was cool!  I hope to get in if they do it next year (I love the horror genre).  

Consider putting this post in JOBS and changing the subject to L.A. DP DVX NEEDED

Thanks for the tip John. I put it under jobs.

As for Monster Fest, it was only open to members of Group 101 (www.group101films.com). It may not even happen next year because there was big personnel shake up at AMC a few months ago.

In the meantime, check out the Group 101 website and see if it's right for you. It is garnering a name in town and certainly other oppotunities will open up. What's more, there are chapters all over the country and the world.

Thanks. No the project was Sandy Collora's thing. $30,000 budget, shot on 35mm.

Group 101 is mostly no budget DV stuff. Still looking for a DVX DP to shoot my short.

Just saw Shatner in a 1988 press conference space on your dad's name. Hey, it's not like he hadn't just WORKED CLOSELY WITH THE GUY for a few months immediately prior.

Given everything, your dad was awfully kind in his book.

Would love to help, but I'm east coast. If you shoot something in NC, I'm your guy.
