I need a DP who is familiar with the DVX100a to helm the camera on a locally produced independent short here in Minneapolis.
The shoots are 24-26 September and 1-3 October, with pickups likely on the second weekend in October.
We need a DP who has some experience working in 24p. Narrative film experience is a must, and music video or concert experience is a big plus. We'll provide a camera.
The applicant should be able to meet with the director several times between now and the 24th to talk about strategies for achieving some of the more difficult shots.
As we are an independent film, we can't pay at market rates, but we can compensate. This is a great opportunity for the right applicant, as the exciting shoot will provide lots of opportunity to show off your skills in a unique way.
