Ascentia Films announces ERASED. ERASED is a low-budget feature-length action/suspense thriller that will be shot in High Definition in and around LA and Ventura counties in California. Principal photography is August 5th-21st. Some smaller scenes may be shot on earlier weekends in July or later in August or September.
A new Director of Photography is needed for this production that starts in just over 2 weeks. We had a DP, but he has just backed out due to personal things that came up in his life. It is preferable that the DP be familiar with the Panasonic HVX200 camera, as that is the camera being use to shoot ERASED. All equipment is production company-owned and includes: HVX200 camera package with matte box and filters, Glidecam V16 with low-mode kit, Fig Rig, lights, and various other lighting and grip equipment.
Compensation: The DP will receive a stipend for gas and travel during production, as well as deferred/contingent compensation of profit points if and when the movie sells to distribution or if we go through self-distribution. Copy, meals, and credit will be given for all positions.
