I am downconverting HD and dumping to MiniDV by just placing HD footage in a SD timeline in FCP. However the footage certainly dosent look as good as The miniDV shot directly from on the camera.
When you have a close look the lines arent very sharp and picture looks a bit muddy. Any other method of downconverting that will improve this?
