Doug Burr's "Should've Known" shot on D90

Great video, loved it.

That location is sweet. Would you mind sharing details such as price and were it's located.

Again, awesome video!

HOLY SH*T! That looks great! Just goes to show what expert editing, shot design, art direction, etc. can do. Very creative post work--this is the best D90-shot video yet! Gives us D90 owners hope! I knew this thing had potential!

Wow, looks great. As a photographer, it does kind of bother me the highlights are so blown in the windows. Nevertheless, I'll be ecstatic if my music videos even approach this.

That's the only music video I saw that actually has the D90 look from beginning to end. I don't think the other ones posted were truly done with the D90...maybe some little parts.

I know what you mean, but I wonder if that wasn't an intentional aesthetic choice- it seems that the outside world is extremely light in the the director's vision, and in the end the bearded guy walks into the light.

Man, that video totally kicks ***. Its obvious that my camera is capable of better than I am, yet.

I am a photographer and new to video as well. Is there anything that can be done about bright windows?

I personally like the effect, but am just curios about what one would do if they didn't want that effect? I suppose you could light up the whole room to match the brightness of the window? That seems unreasonable.

Vertical, one can either "light up" the interiors to come into range more closely with outside exposure, or bring the light cast through the window down in exposure by gelling the windows with Neutral Density gel. Both are laborious processes.

or gels on the glass

Amazing stuff. I have never seen a D90 project like this one. Great job!! good song too

Me too. I like the song and the recording except one little thing. The way the drums were recorded, they sounded a bit too trashy and thin. Other than that everything sounds and looks great to me.
