Doritos Competition

Just for fun we entered the Doritos Competition and here are a few of the clips. I can't upload my hi-res files until the competition is over (sites rules). Kind of sucks the sites compressor really lowered the quality of my spots and hope I'm not judge for this.

That's weird we just shot our Doritos ad today, don't worry we won't be any threat cause ours sucked.


To be honest, the shooting was well done and the editing is smooth, music, acting, all decent. I did not get what that thing was at the end, a ninja? Or what he was trying to do. Even after watching the third one I didn't know what it was, until I read your ad synopsis. Then it just seemed you were ripping off the jerky Bigfoot ads. I also didn't get what he was about to eat, a turd or a dead armidillo?

It's actually a gorilla suit and a friend decided to bring it anyway for fun. We watched it over and over laughing, so we decided to put the two up. We got the idea while driving down US 41 & Turner Rivers road (famous sighting of the Sasquatch) for the boom op interruption skit. My boom op tripped him on purpose and wasn't even suppose to be in the shot.




We basically were shooting an outdoors skit and decided to make a BTS funny kind of shoot (as seen in the second link). This was the originally shoot and well just decided to add the others for fun. Just because one company makes a big foot ad, doesn't mean that you can't try to make another. I've seen tons of big foot/sasquatch ads, but yes I guess they pretty much made that famous.

Rat. He took to long on his lines and couldn't add that part in. I guess they don't really make sense, but we just decided to shoot this last minute.
