doritos commercial

Seemed very high schooly commerical. I dont mean to rag or what not. Story was fine, but could have been more visually professional.

Interesting you say that, because that was kind of the point of the cinematography. I wanted it to be kind of cheesy for that type of music. That's why I kept the shots very flat and a bit wide. Maybe it didn't come across the way I wanted it to.
 
I liked the spot until the guy freaks out - the sound coming from him/acting at that point just didn't fit and felt very amateur. The last shot, however, was a good last shot. I think the idea to have the twist where the two bullies finally steal his doritos and that's when he reacts was a good idea, it just wasn't executed as well as it should have been.
 
i thought it was kinda funny. i laughed. a little better cinematography i think would make a world of difference. i think it'd be more effective if the nerd guy didn't make any noise at all, just facial expressions once he gets pissed. other than that.......:thumbup:
 
oh yea, seemed like hit hit that locker hard as s#@! too, lol. i was surprised he kept a straight face afterwards. :)
 
I think the concept is good, potentially better than most of the regional adds we see posted here. But i definatley don't want to see a close up of someone spitting out mouthfuls of doritos

Very True! That will most likely take you out of the running. The cinematography definitely needs some work... The trash in the middle of the hallway? I definitely like the concept. I think that the last shot a good idea too with the vest half way off but was a little confusing because it was so fast. If you have the capability, I would take all the advice you get here and try it again, I would expect it to be AWESOME!

Starting off with the nerd walking through the doors behind him instead of him only!

I think a roof shot (looking staight down) of the last scene would be cool!
