Hi guys been searching for previous posts for ages so apologies if this is a repeat.
I have the latest FCP studio 2, I purchased a new Imac with the highest graphic card and everything else to run it. It runs leapord operating system version 10.5.4. I purchased FCP 6 book by Diana Weynard, I load cd, imported lesson files to my 2nd external drive, try to open in FCP the 1st lesson gets to about 40% then a window comes up saying:
Files format is too new for this version of the application
:huh: I did a systems update, and still wont work, thought I had the latest software
Anyone help? I wouldnt need to trash preference settings would I? Ive only used this once before and not customized yet
