Don't taze me, Mom!

Wow, have you ever been tazed?

I do not recommend it to anyone...ever. I can't imagine how a two year old would handle it. I can tell you, I went down fast. haha. And stayed down.

Why were you tazed in the first place then?

Ive been hit by 100,000v from a gas pyro ignitor. Produces a 2inch ish spark. Its very similar to a stungun but its to ignite gas for sfx stuff.

That was quite an odd feeling, It felt like I had a big sheet of sticky back plastic stuck all over my arm and it was being pulled around really fast in all sorts of diffnert directions. The skin kind of tensed up from where the spark hit me.

Wasnt too bad though
 
Haha, I worked as a ref at a paintball field. One of the guys brought one in to mess around with. Apparently I picked one of the worst times to walk into the main shop.

One of those stupid, what the hell are we doing moments.
 
Never been tazed, but I have taken a hit from a very hot electric fence -- and that ached for hours. I can do without seeing what a tazing is like.
 
I regualry shock myself, I've been electrocuted a few times.

once it was from a street lamp that had exposed wires with a notice that said "do not touch", so I touched it.

I opened up a camera flash unit to see how it worked, ended up getting shocked many times.

used to shock myself with a gas stove lighter.

Fun times.

You can actually build up shock tolerance.
 
I get shocked about half the time I get out of my car. If I don't happen to touch the metal of the car door closing it, I will have a surprise waiting for me when I grab a metal door handle going into the store.
