I took my new unhackable GH1 to the walmart parking lot during a late night snack run to do a quick shoot to see how it looked just iluminated by the parking lot lights in low iso.
Once I got the footage back I saw the store front exposed nicely and could see a decent amount close to the store but saw horrendous verticle banding here and there. I use a 42" cheap LCD TV from Best Buy as my main computer monitor and I've had some problems with image ghosting in the past since I sometimes leave the LCD on while I'm at work with no screen saver, I know I know. So I checked the footage on the other 19" LCD monitor and I couldn't see any banding.
Even after turning off the TV, in the morning I still had a little burn in. If you have bad banding, make sure to check your monitor/tv for burn in or dead / stuck pixels.
