Donica MT-750 tripod

Anyone have any experience with these tripods? I saw one being used on set of a "Sony PlayStation 3" commercial a few weeks ago. The exact tripod is a Donica MT-750, and I've never heard much about it. Amazon is selling it for about $300, and it's rated weight capacity is around 30lbs. I'm in need of a 3rd tripod for my 2nd camera, and am really considering this tripod. There's one review I've found online @ newegg, but I don't want to base a purchase off one review. Though, I may bite the bullet and just guinea pig it for everyone anyways.

Looks a lot like the Weifeng EI-717 that they sell in the UK. Never used it personally, heard mixed reviews.

Another budget tripod I've heard good words about (although it's a little bit more expensive) is the Secced, think it's the Ares or Atlas 2 that'll suit DSLR work. Recommended to me by somebody who works on Top Gear over here.

Reviews on the Weifeng EI-717, make your mind up if it's the same. Looks it to me.
