Dolly Track?

I got a hold of a simple dolly which attaches to the base of my tripod, so now it's a tripod with wheels actually. Now does anyone have any ideas on how to get or make a nice track for the dolly so I would not be sliding everywhere like a madman?

Thanks

That type is not for a track.
If you could somehow replace the single wheels on each end with double wheels, you coudl possibly use it on a PVC track

Is there any way I can make a track with this without replacing the wheels?

Here is the exact Dolly I bought.

Any help is greatly appreciated , thank you

Yes. You could use a block of wood, aluminum (better choice) as your truck and invert the wheels to meet the track. Using two straight wheels on a track can be done, but not really sure how it would perform.

You could also try attaching two lengths of PVC together side by side so the single wheels of your dolly sit in the depression made by the curvature of the pvc where they touch. Of course you'd need two sets of PVC (that is four lengths) running in parallel (one where two of the dolly wheels would sit, and second for the third wheel).

Great idea, thank you!
