I had an idea to use wheels with tires, but with teh tires removed. So the concave rim would ride on PVC piping. ANyone try this?

We once had some Colson poly casters dished-out to accomplish the same thing. The tolerance was a bit too tight, so we used tons of Lemon Pledge to keep it quiet. Our set always smelled springtime fresh.
