Dog Day Afternoon...

[rawfa]

Ok, so here are some photos I took with a cheap 1megapixel point and shoot camera when I went to visit my parents in Portugal ...still waiting for my D40 to arrive.

[rawfa]

Hum...I really don't understand what is going on in here. I have posted 9 photos with the "insert image" tool but they are not showing up. On Mozilla nothing shows up and on Internet Explorer all that shows up is a bunch of red crosses where the photos should be. :-(

Anyway, you can catch the slideshow right here: http://picasaweb.google.es/rafascl/DogDayAfternoon/photo#s5152298420953635714

You need to link to the images, not to the pages on which the images are on.

For example:

Like Mikko said - link directly to the JPG files, not the HTML page they are on.
I went ahead and fixed the links.

Thank you, gentleman.
It's weird though that I can see the images on IE but not on firefox...

[Michael Friedman]

I can see the images on IE but not on firefox...

..or safari

[Luis Caffesse]

Thank you, gentleman.

Odd.
I'm on Firefox and I see them fine.

[mikkowilson]

And I can't see them in IE.

[Matthew R. Rodwell]

I am on IE, some of them load but still getting alot of errors. How big are the file sizes on those images?

[rawfa]

That's freaking weird. The files are 640×480. Better stick with the slide show :-(

[Mino]

I like the first two shots of the dog...Nice POV. The detail is pretty cool for a 1mp cam in shot #8

[hoarp001]

...whats the purpose of this?

[Mino]

To see if dogs show up in 1mp cam shots.

[hoarp001]

Oo sorry I didnt realise this was in the still photography forum, I was wondering what this had to do with video.

Looks good for a smaller camera though, I assume the grain and the vignetting is a post job, and not accidental

[Mino]

:thumbup::grin:

[rawfa]

Thanks, Mino.
The vignetting and grain were added on post.
