I thought these camera's were slightly more expensive, especially for PAL form.

(By the way that works out at around '$737.95' for most of you guys)

Well thanks, that's quite a relief / curious wonder.

Was expecting another 'k up the price range..

..Is it just because this camera has fallen down the ladder.. and better ones have been out since?

Awesome.

http://salesinstore.com is a fraudulent China scam. You will not get anything. It works like that:

1. You buy
2. you pay via Western Union or Bank transfer into a private account in China
3. You get a note that item will be send
4. A few days later you get a note that there is a customs problem, which can be solved if you add a some more £.
5. Again a few days later there is yet another problem, which you guessed it, need a few more £
6. This goes on till you wake up.

Here is a list with a few China shops that sell fakes:

So far there are over 5000 such fraudulent webshops from China.

Yeah, China and Nigeria seem to be at the top of the Scam list, along with Brooklyn NY. The Xl1s is going pretty cheap these days, because most cheap consumer cams have more powerful features. Aside from the few trying to sell them off as "High end Pro Cameras" with an extremely padded price, they are out there at a good price. It is not an HD cam, and yes, it is a little old, but they are still great cams. I still use an XL1 with one client regularly.

Ah well, anything around the price mark of the XL1 (same or lower) that's a bit more.. nifty for today's age?
