GH2 does the new GH2 firmware change the HDMI output?

Sorry if this has been asked already,

I'm just wondering if the new HBR modes output different signals via hdmi

I'm hoping the 25p mode will output the same as it records, 25p sensor output in a 50i wrapper.
 
I have another question and apologize ahead of time if this has already been covered everywhere. I have a Lilliput 7" monitor and a Zacuto snap for my Z finder and neither can get a signal from the GH2. I have the cam in hdmi Auto and have the Aquamotion patch. Anyone know if I need to set something else up? I have trouble with the VF in the GH2 as I'm far sighted and the LCD isn't very valuable to me either. I spent a small fortune on these other alternatives and feel had that they don't work. Both the Zacuto and Lilliput work perfectly with my D7000. I've heard sometimes the HDMI doesn't work, but before I send the camera back, want to make sure there isn't some setting I need to check. Thanks and Happy Holidays!
 
Try your monitor with a different video source (blurry player etc...)
Try a different cable (HDMI mini is easily broken, my advise is to always have a spare one or two in your bag.)

HDMI does not work with the EX mode (crop 1:1)
If problem persists, reinstall original firmware and reset camera to factory settings in the menu.
 
My EX tele mode wasn't on, but perhaps it was last time I was trying to get it to work, because it works now. Thanks for your input. I was hoping all this stuff wasn't a paperweight. Cheers.
