Does the tiny LCD on the standard Sony RM-F300 remote commander glow when it is communicating with the EX1? Mine doesn´t and it only cooperates erratically with the camcorder: zooming halfheartedly then stopping in mid zoom, starting to record but no pause or stop). I thought this could be due to a flat battery but changing the battery didn´t make any difference. So now I am thinking maybe the replacement battery may also be flat. But before I go change it again would like to know how the LCD is supposed to behave, as this will help me figure out if the problem really is a flat battery or something else.
