Does the HVX200A/205A have HDMI input?

I have someone who wants to hire us to do a live feed of a rally but they need to know if our camera has an HDMI input.

We've never done a live feed requiring that before, so I'm about ignorant on the subject.

Anyone know?

In a word, no. It does have component and SDI. Component (analogue) can be converted easily to hdmi (digital) via converters made by several companies which as I recollect are not too expensive. The quality of the signal is similar, so the signal will work fine. SDI is a better way to go, so you might mention that it is available also.

Grant is correct, but I'd want to ask on your original post -- you said "HDMI -input-"? No camera that I can think of has HDMI input. I think Grant is assuming that you meant "HDMI output", right?

HVX has sdi? I thought that only the hpx170 and up had it.

The HVX has neither SDI nor HDMI. It has analog component output.

yeah. hVx only has component out.
and while there may be one somewhere. im not aware of any small, component to hdmi converters

They do exist but all the ones I've seen are mains powered so not a portable design.
