Does the HMC150 record 24p at 29.97?

I'm guessing no since I've searched a lot of places. I want to upgrade from my DVX100B and thought this would be a perfect solution for me. I love shooting in 24P but I'm still using FCE and dont want to spend the money on pro. Express will only allow a 29.97, not a problem for the DVX... Will this camera work for me?
 
it shoots clean 24p... no 29.97 nonsense so I guess you wouldn't be able to use it? FCE really doesn't do 24p?
 
So you shoot 24p now and you edit it? Why can't you shoot 24 with the hmc then. You can shoot 30p which I think you mean by 29.97... I'm confused, you can't shoot any framerate at another framerate...

Well FCE surely won't support the native files off the camera anyway (neither does FCS). So it'll be transcoded to another format, and perhaps during that process you can have the 24p signal embedded in a 29.97 stream?

Maybe you want to grab some sample footage online and just try it out?
