FS7: Does the camera put the gamma curve in the metadata?

Wondering if there is a way to know how footage was shot, sometimes as an editor I get a drive of mixed footage and not sure how it was shot - Custom/ CineEI / SLOG3 / SLOG2 / HG etc.

If it doesn't do this automatically, then is there a way to insert that data?

The meta data is there, as you can see it in Catalyst Browse.

Just doesn't come through the wash into Premier Pro. Not sure zbout other NLES, but I think we would have heard if others had managed it.

Bit of a necessary thing - but waiting for hell to freeze first.

I think you'd have to manually enter it in Prem or Prelude metadata panels after checking in catalyst.
