Does Lumix lenses auto correct like on the GH 1/2

[Alex lin]

Hi long time lurker first post.
The Lumix lenses has quite the barrel distortion but Panasonic "cheat" or if you prefer "tech innovation" and auto correct these flaws and makes the Lumix lenses very descent indeed on their still cameras GH 1/2 and so on.

Now does the AF100 also do this, or are these lenses plagued with distortion the wider ends?

Best

The lens is corrected as far as I know. I own one and it looks good.

The AF100 has the ability to recognize the information from the lens and perform barrel distortion and chromatic aberration compensation on Lumix lenses.

Thanks.
