Does FS700 have delay/lag issues when trying to live stream?

The title says it all. We are mixing a few cameras for live streaming (using MULTIPLE CAMERAS) and are currently looking at a couple options: The upcoming PX270 (Small Sensor yet 10bit 4:2:2 cam from Panasonic) and the FS700R. Both have 3G-SDI output which, because we shoot at 1080p60, will allow us output that signal via the SDI port for live switching/live streaming purposes. However, I read about the delay/lag with regards to the FS700's outputs...apparently when streaming progressively? Not sure if this only affects various monitors since that's where this lag is discussed at length in various threads...but I'm curious if the FS700 will be okay for multicam live streaming or live switching at an event...or will there be issues with this delay/lag?

Any one ever used the FS700 for this purpose with other FS700's or other video cameras?

Yes, I've used an FS700 for live broadcast show in the UK at the start of this year, a big show going to circa 5 million each week, multi camera shoot. We were shooting interlaced, 50i, lag was never an issue.

Any idea if there are issues with live switching a shoot when it's NOT interlaced (eg 1080p24/1080p60, etc)??

Sorry, missed that bit. No, I'm afraid I've only used interlaced in a live environment, didn't realise the lag was only progressive based.

Just read a tip elsewhere that suggests changing the monitor output to 50/60p reduces the lag considerably, may be worth a try (you can modify the frame rate back to what you want on the 7Q)

We plan to shoot all cameras at 1080p60, output that via the 3G-SDI output to a switcher, mix the cameras/audio, and then send that to a recorder (7Q) for archive and then a 2nd feed out to stream online at a lower resolution/frame rate (eg. 720p24). So there's no monitors involved really. Just wondering if anyone else has tried streaming with these progressively...or at least doing a multicam switch.
