I am thinking about buying plural eyes to sync audio/video but than read somewhere that X can sync audio. Does anyone have any input or know if this is true????

It is true, however the built in feature is not nearly as robust or reliable as Plural Eyes, so there is still a need for the plug in.

my experience with FCPX audio sync is that its unreliable and basically worthless. maybe they will fix it someday. for now forget it.

i use pluraleyes on FCP7 but havent tried it yet on FCPX. its a killer plugin and expect it will work like a champ on X just like it does on 7.

Syncing dialogue and interview in FCP X works fine for me, from external recorder to camera audio. PluralEyes on FCP X looks cool though.

yes - there is definitely a tool to sync audio on X - It looks simple to do as well, I saw someone do it on youtube...

FCP X audio sync needs clean audio. The dirtier the audio, the less accurate it is. PluralEyes handles dirty audio better.
