Does CS6 work on WiN 10?

Need a laptop for mobile editing and most now come with WIN10 Home or Pro.
Since I'm mainly using CS6 (and Vegas 14 some) I'm not sure what I need to avoid or get concerning the newer OS and graphics cards.
I want some type of Nvidia GPU that will work with CS6.
Do I need Windows 10 Pro or is Home version ok?
 
You should be using a MAC not on the dark side!

That said I would suggest you use Win10 Pro NOT the home version. There are some differences but I understand that there will be more differences inthe future particularly on the home version tying down what you can intel and how. It appears there is talk of a MS style App-Store for installing only approved apps. Rather like on MAC's though there are legitimate ways around it on Apple for those who know what they are doing. However the WIn10x Pro will be able to install anything but the home version only approved apps.

This advice is "rumour" and worth exactly what you are paying for it. However it is probably worth looking into.

If it's any help CS6 runs fin on EL Capitian :-)
 
Yes, CS6 runs fine on Windows 10. When I dumped CC for Avid, I reinstalled CS6 for the rare cases I need or feel like using it. Haven't had any issues on my Windows 10 laptop with it.

I actually have an older MacPro (with CS4 and Final Cut) but I am such a Mac idiot. Plus the license I have for CS6 is windows. I need an editing laptop and am glad that WIN10 should work since trying to find one with WIN7 is really limiting. Looks like I better get the Pro version
 
There might be some gotchas but I haven't heard or encountered any yet. I know on my mac any OSX after 9 broke some functions in AE, but they still work on my Win version
