Does anyone rent M2s?

I am trying to arrange a test shoot on June 9th to compare the M2 adapter to a P+S Mini35 adapter. Unfortunately I can't find anyone locally that has an M2, and ordering one takes months. Does anyone rent these?

I met an M2 guy in the JVC booth at NAB. I asked him if any rental house carried the product. He said "we're not looking for people to rent these, they're priced to sell to end user."

Really clever product, but possibly the most short sided thing I heard anyone say at NAB.

I.

We rent the M2 with a PL or Nikon mount in San Francisco. It's currently booked up for a while ... mainly because RR's supply chain can't keep up with demand. If you need one in SF, I can point you to a others here.

I make mine available for rent as well, but I'm based in Los Angeles. If you NEED one and can't find one, and don't mind paying shipping, well then I certainly don't mind helping out a fellow filmmaker. :)

Thanks guys, our DP was able to get one with a Nikon mount for our test shoot which is now on the 11th. We will be testing a Mini35 adapter as well, unfortunately it is a PL mount, so we won't be able to test the same lens on each.

What are your rental rates? We might need 2 for a 3 week shoot at the end of summer. We also might need 2 Marshal monitors.
