GH3 Does anyone regularly clean their card/camera contact points?

I purchased a digital memory card contact cleaning kit. I'm curious if anyone has ever used a product like this. If so, how often do you clean your cards or your camera? I was having trouble with GH3 organizing the clips. I wrote a previous post about this. After sending it too Panasonic, the only thing they did was clean the contact points on the camera.
 
Nope. I've been shooting daily with SD cards for more than 5 years and never had an issue, which I attribute to buying good quality cards ( SanDisk, Kingston, Partriot ) and keeping them in a proper storage case. ( Pelican )

I'm with you. SanDisk all the way and I also use a nice storage case. The GH3 corrupted my clips after only 4 months of use with ONLY Sandisk cards:

I am using the same Transcend cards for 2.5 years now. First with a Canon 60D, now with the GH3. Have never cleaned contacts in my life. I do however, format the cards before every shoot on the computer. And no 'fast format' but the one that takes 20 min.
