Does anyone know this videographer "Roy"?

His work is amazing, But I asked him if he used any pulldown and he said "no". how do you achieve such crisp video without pulldown? I use sony vegas as well and this guy has it so crisp...his images are one of the best. Please let me know if anyones got the same sharpness. Thanks

So if I shoot 720p 24...I would not need a pulldown? Is that what hes shooting or is he shooting 720/60 or 720/30. Thanks
 
Vegas and Gspot are reporting the uploaded file as 30fps, probably why he has ghosting in the motion.
 
He's shooting 50P, actually, if you read the comments. Roy is from Singapore where the video system is PAL. There is no such thing as pulldown in PAL land, just predictable, manageable framerates.

Go to the Vimeo page and he writes that he is shooting 720p. Be it PAL or NTSC 720p60 on the GH1 has no pulldown. You can covert it to 24p in your NLE if you want.
 
But he converted it to 30fps (exactly) to upload to vimeo. Download the original file, that's what i did. His ghosting problem is from not disabling resample of the clips before rendering the final export.

Of course the ghosting could be intentional if that is the effect he wanted.
