Does anybody do proxy editing with GH2 Footage on Premiere?

I'm trying to figure out how to do it. What are my software choices to convert MTS to something better for editing (Aunsoft, Neoscene etc)? Do Premiere users prefer ProRes 422 or something else?


Thanks, I just heard about proxy editing a few days earlier and I'm trying to take advantage of it by learning about how other people structure their workflow.

If you have CS5 and a CUDA video card, you can edit your GH2 MTS files as native files without any need to convert.

So far I've just edited the AVCHD files natively in my CS4. It's plenty smooth for me.
