Docutemtary suggestions

[russurquhart1]

Hi,

I just got a new DVX and have a dream to use it to make good documentaries. Can the pros out there suggest any good documentary books or how tos? Or recommend things to avoid?

This forum has been a wealth of information for me. Thanks for all your help.

Apart of reading books and listening to others expirience, I suggest that you make your first documentry on a subject that is really close to your heart. Only then you will realize what it is all about, and it is not equipment or things you can buy, its your soul. You will make a good movie only if you put your soul in it , only then you will get through all the obstacles, because you care about it.
