I went to Kenya this summer to shoot a promotional documentary for the Christian organization, Share International, Inc.
I took along a Canon XH-A1 and a Canon T1i but ended up shooting everything with the T1i. I used a 50mm Pentax film lens (with adapter) to force the T1i to have a manual aperture. It was challenging and I had some overheating issues with the camera since I was in the middle of the desert.
The T1i is a really under-appreciated camera. For under $1000 you can't get better images and performance in my opinion.
Enjoy and if you have any questions about a particular shot, I'll do my best to answer it.
