Documentary film is looking for a cinematographer in New York to shoot interviews and b-roll from September 26th to October 3rd. Availability on either of the days or all of the days is welcome. We are shooting a documentary about higher education and the predatory practices of the student loan industry. We are currently an extremely low budget (no budget) doc so there is unfortunately no pay (we are all volunteering on this very important project which the public needs to know about). Any help or leads are greatly appreciated. We've been featured on the radio and TV on shows such as "DEMOCRACY NOW!", so exposure to the masses is great. We're shooting on HD and so far shot footage with a Panasonic HMC150 at 720p24. Cameras that we feel would match our footage would be Panasonic HMC150, HPX170, HVX200 or higher models; also Sony EX-1 or EX-3; or possibly the JVC GY-HM700. These are all the tapeless workflow 3 chip HD cameras that we could ingest into Final Cut's ProRes422 codec. Other 3 chip HD cameras could be possible also if you want to help out.
