Doc reel

I'm looking for some documentary style work so I needed to grab some people shots and put it together because my nature stuff obviously isn't suitable.

The shots are pretty unspectacular but more in line with run and gun stuff. Anyway, this is a combination of HVX200 and XHA1 stuff. These are either completed docs/corporate or works in progress.

The opening shots are from an upcoming video I shot with the Fat Monsters. The grain pattern from an older Letus I was using is pretty noticeable on these selections but I liked the feel of the shots so I don't care about the grain stuff.

Thanks for the comments. The following list might be easier to follow if I included reference timecode but I'm just pulling this out of my head and not looking at the file:

Using the Extreme/HVX combo at the beginning up to the shot before the clown...
First clown shot is XHA1/no adapter.
Second two shots with the violin are Extreme/HVX (there was very low light in this shot so it's pretty cranked and grainy).
The shots following the group outside and indoor discussion with closeups is next and that was done with an XHA1/no adapter.
The outdoor school bus and school exteriors/city buildings/kids running up steps, etc... done with the HVX/no adapter
The footage at the gym towards the end was done with the XHA1/no adapter
The last shot on the water was done with the HVX/no adapter shot in slow mo at 60fps

Nice material, you obviously have a good eye. And even though the majority of that looks like available light, your warmth and eye for people shines through.
