Do you use Google?

Just picked up "Grammar of the Film Language" (recommended by Rezfactor,) Shaun of the Dead and Van Helsing...

...totally Guilt Free!!!

Keep on truckin, PK.

Thanks a lot, ecarr. We get about a 6% commission on all sales, so if more people (like you) used our shop instead of going straight to Amazon we could create some really big projects in more countries. Just by people surfing, searching, and shopping.... like they normally do. :)

I didn't know you guys got a commision, that's pretty cool. That could really add up, too, cuz you can get practically anything from Amazon...

The Amazon shopping thing is great.... I have a cat and he uses the LitterMaid self-cleaning litterbox. I can get the receptacles it uses on there and free shipping, too. (Free shipping is not on everything) But heck, I'd be getting them on Isara or going to Wal mart.... let's see, which one to choose.... :) Plus, I get most of my cd's on there, too.

It's great. I just dropped 50 bucks on an ext. enclosure, it was cheaper than newegg, too. Even with shipping.

Thanks thartley. The amount of stuff you've purchased has helped a lot!

ecarr - We got the commissions. Thanks, buddy. :)

The only thing cooler than PK is Isara.
Isara rocks my face off.
My homepage is Isara.
I'm a lazy self involved asshat and even I can help other people by doing next to nothing.
Leave it to PK to reverse engineer capitalism into charity

In case anyone is still somehow not clear on how this inspired plan works ... by making your homepage Isara, which has a google powered search window, you let the web page tally up views or hits which lets it sell ad space to ... well advertisers. Sounds like google or yahoo you say? Well so far you are correct, but the difference is that the ad revenue doesn't go to some guy that's so rich he's using it for toilet paper, it goes to some poor kid that can't afford toilet paper ... or in other words, towards helping the poor and disenfranchised throughout the world.

FRICKIN' GENIUS! :cheesy:

Jack - Not sure if I should say, "Thank you." or perform a sexual favor. We'll start with a Thank you and just see where it goes from there. Ok?

wesley - "Do or do not. There is no try." - Yoda :) If you live in the Netherlands, you can use http://nl.isara.com .

I have had someone at work find me to ask "What's that website you are always talking about? I have to do some research and I want to google from there." I was caught off guard and speechless, but in a great way.

:dankk2:

Thanks Kovarova! Writing a blog article or placing banners on MySpace is a great way of helping spread the word.

Blogs help a lot because search engines will crawl it and if they find more and more people talking about Isara then it will help our rating and, also, more people will believe what we're doing is possible. "Nothing attracts a crowd like a crowd." :)

Thanks again everyone. I promise, when Isara rules this planet, DVXuser will be placed on a protected list. No harm shall come to you.

Let's keep this thread at the top people - and add Isara as your homepage!! If for some reason your heart is nothing more than a vacant black hole and you don't believe in Isara's humanitarian cause at least do it because PK's a great guy!

Thanks for re-posting this PK. I'm embarassed to say I just made the change (why I didn't before, I don't know.) So, when I purchase from amazon, through isara of course, do you still get a commission if I purchase from a third-pary vendor (such as used books?) Just wondering - i'd rather pay a few more bucks on occassion to know isara is getting the money. Great work, PK.

EDIT: I just messed around on the site and answered my question. Used products seem to provide revenue as well!

Hey, cool to see more people switching their homepages! I have my computers at home (3) and my personal work computer switched to Isara.com. And I use the internet a ton! Keep those hits coming!

I tend to get roped into fixing computers whenever my friends have a problem - the good part is changing their IE default home page from MSN to Isara! :)

Also, all you Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and Hotmail users will have a simple link to click located below the Isara Google search box to quickly check your e-mail. That's even more convenient than the actual Google page.
