FS7: do you need to do firmware in order?

If you have older firmware in the FS7 do you need to do each update in turn or can you just go straight to v 4.0?

Actually same question for metabones and odyssey.
 
Yeah, Tony's right about the FS7 and just to add I've skipped firmware on the Odyssey before upgrading and it's been fine. My Metabones has always been upgraded in order, but I'd bet it would be fine too as it's a complete firmware update, not a patch.
