Boy this is org[censored]mic. I can't believe I never tried this before...

Jeez I was already fighting my addiction to this place. With some great tunes playing as I read it all seems so... important.:beer:
 
Nah... just pop in a CD, or load up a file on your computer and let it go as you do your normal browsing of the forum...

I know it sounds simple... and it is... that's why I wondered if a lot of people hang out in the forum like this.

It's almost like when George wanted to combine eating with sex (on Seinfeld)... I'm listening to an 80's mix as I type this right now... and now I'm thinking I should get a pastrami sandwich going also. If I get a laptop then I can take my pastrami sandwich, my beer, and a pair of headphones to a shoot and let somebody else run the project while I sit there on DVXuser reading, listening, drinking, and eating my pastrami on rye...

If I can get all that going at once I'll be sure to bring a fresh Depends (tm).
 
hah. ha. I thought I was missing out on some new feature like, dvx-jukebox!

mostly, I come here and peek when I'm editing, keeps me in the chair, even if it can get unproductive...

back at it...
 
Most of the time I have itunes open and jamming something from my 40 or so gigs of tunes. Changes with the mood though. I'm on a Diana Krall Christmas album kick this week.

It really puts a high gloss on the forum experience doesn't it?

Thinking about the music you guys are listening to while I'm enjoying mine is only heightening it for me. I like everything you guys have mentioned.

I agree with Rich that I'd have expected John to be more hard core then that but I listen to EVERYTHING so who cares... it's all good... and for Rich... Tool is SO appropriate. That is exactly what I'd expect from your zombie-surprise ass.

I've always had eclectic tastes in art. I like what I like.

Except 99% of Rap and 99% of Country. Unless it's some hot Country chick like Shania or Faith.
 
word. when i was a kid i was like...rap/hiphop only! everything else sucks...now im into everything...not so much country...but i can deal with it if someone wants to listen.
 
I think more people than will admit to it have a wide range of musical tastes, just as they have a wide range of emotions in their lives. Different tunes for different moods.
