Do you ever listen to music while your on DVXuser?

Matt! LOL I love you maaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!

All my friends growing up (and today I guess) still are pigeonholed into certain genres. When I was younger I had buddies that were totally 'Dude! Floyd! Metallica man!!' while the other set were 'Depeche MOde! The Cure bro!'. My dad (Dickhead) listened to The BEatles and his girlfriend was into Zeppelin and The Doors and shinny

So, I gravitated towards all styles mainly.

Current Rotation

The Dan Band (hilarious.. First time I heard of them was on that channel they don't allow straight people on... (bravo) At least it seems to be getting that way).

Alice Cooper -- Dirty Diamonds
Lords Of Acid -- Fartsucker (saw them in Dallas)

Basically I listen to anything except... bluegrass. That drives me nuts. Most anything else is fine though. Faith Hill... Like her music and in the looks... beats out most chicks 1/2 her age. (Sorry CMT, you got your top two mixed up. There is no way in hell that Shania is better looking than Faith). I'm the kind that can can have Metallica, Gn'R, COC, LOA, playing and on the drop of a dime be perfectly happy listening to Wagner, Bach, Chopin, then turn up Yokem, Hill, Alabama. Oh yea, Snoop, Dr Dre, TLC. Just don't throw in some bluegrass or the player DIES.

Belle and Sebastian right now...
but I'm with Matt and John on this, I'll listen to just about anything.

Right now I've got Johnny Cash, Air, Billie Holiday, Band of Bees, and Esquivel all rotating on my itunes.

(along with my deep dark secret .... The Carpenters --- shhh, don't tell anyone)

That's all i do when im on the comp...music...dvxuser...occasional myspace.

rite now....im listenin to sum techno..im starting to get into that trancy stuff..its goooood.

but I listen to a lot of old classic rock.

recently..ive been finding myself listening to a lot of Jim Croce thou..iduno why..I jus like his stuff all of a sudden.

I came across this thread while I have my 'puter tuned into

http://www.xpn.org/listen.php

WXPN is the only rock and roll public radio station that I am aware of. Started listening when I lived in Philly for a few years. Thanks to the web, can keep up the habit.

i've always got some music going, no matter what i'm doing, except editing. but even then if it's like CC or photoshop i'll have it playin.

i just got "the legend of johnny cash," so i've been rockin that a lot.

John, the image of you moderating this forum listening to Sade just cracks me up.

Anyone who restricts themselves to a certain style of music is really missing out. There is greatness to be heard in all genres.

I usually have some 70's reggae/dub or 60's rock playing when I'm online.

I'm on a Guns and Roses kick right now. Got the urge yesterday for Use Your Illusion II. Classic.
Hell yeah! I listen to Appetite for Destruction and GNR Lies all the time.

I'm usually listening to music when I'm on my computer and not doing something that requires me not to have it playing.

No offense but your first post sounded gay, anyhoo I've been listening to the new Dillinger Escape Plan(Miss Machine) whenever I get the chance, which is whenever I'm driving, on the internet, or working on a video project. These Mackie Hr824's really help with that. :cheesy:

...Unless it's some hot Country chick like Shania...
Shania, eh!

When she gets a chainsaw and starts cutting down logs, she's REALLY hot (she grew up in Timmins, you know...)
