Do The New Lumix X Series Lenses Have Iris Limitation Problems

I’ve had issues with the Panasonic 14-140 Lumix lens shooting live events outdoors when light changes occur, and I need to keep rolling, I’m using the AF100 set on auto iris but the iris changes are not smooth. Do the New Lumix X Series Lenses solve this problem?

I just received the new Panasonic Leica 25mm f/1.4. In auto mode it is noisy and the exposure jumps. Not really useable in auto.

I think Vardalos' question is specifically about the new "pro" line of Lumix X lenses, which (as of now) consists of the 14-42 pancake zoom and the 45-175 zoom. The question is, is the aperture transition smoother and more seamless on those, than it is on the 14-140?

Anyone who has one of these lenses (or both) care to comment?

I think it is difficult to answer, unless the firmware update for the AF100 comes out, which brings support for the new X lenses. What I have seen from online videos with the new X lenses (shot with GH2 or alike, not sure if they were already updated) the aperture changes are not smooth.
