Do not want! - Lucas messes with the trilogy again.

Sigh. These are for real changes in the Star Wars blu-rays coming out which I will most certainly have to buy. Why you ask? Because the force has a strong influence on the weak-minded--

Those are both unacceptable. But the "no" is worse.

I'm gonna have to find an original 1977 film print and telecine it myself...

I thought the sound that scares off the Sand People was worse.

And, in my opinion, at least the "No" is only screwing up Return of the Jedi, not a classic like A New Hope.

Lucass is just doing this to piss people off. The fact that he's not even giving people what they want (original theatrical cut) proves just that. I'm not buying it.

Lucas is like a bad artist who keeps painting on the same canvas over and over until it becomes such a muddled mess of ****.

I can't even muster an effort to reply here; Lucas is a betch. I'm over it.

I second Zak; no sale.

BG ? Can you Telecine me a copy please ?

Colorizing movies, electronic duets with dead singers, dead celebrities placed in commercials; these are abominations. A guy tweaking his own movies owes the public nothing. Have fun GWL. Tweak to your hearts content.

I dream to make a Star Wars, a Tucker, an American Graffiti and have full control of it. Life is good.

it would have been way better with darth vader saying this:

no.

noooooooooooooooooooo george lucuas!

Why cant he leave well enough alone? Does anyone out there actually want these changes, or are they just exercises to keep his special effects guys busy? A new hope was ruined for me the day he castrated Han Solo with the whole Greedo thing. I remember when they were releasing that movie and they had documentaries on tv about the improvements. Everyone in the room (in college) who was watching that show, their jaws dropped when they had Greedo shoot first - that was meant to be an improvement? Han was supposed to be a cocky son of a *****, and they ruined it. It would be like if Spielberg came back and altered that scene in Raiders of the lost Ark when Indie just shoots the blade wielding guy - they were great scenes that made us appreciate Harrison Ford for being the kind of guy that gets the job done - even if that means issuing a couple of sucker punches along the way.

Somewhere in a box I have the original VHS copies of the Star Wars Trilogy. They are better than all of this new shiny crap.
