Do I need any upgrades? Post work with HD

Hi there,
I am very green when it comes to the high definition post production workflow. I will be shooting 1080/24p to P2 with my HVX 200. My workflow consists of FCP 6,
Macbook Pro 10.5.5:
2 GHz Intel Core Duo
2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
ATY,RadeonX1600

If I did not give proper specs, what would you need to know?

I have heard an upgraded graphics card would not hurt.
Please, any information would be GREATLY appreciated.

You cannot upgrade the video card on the MacBook Pro. You would have to buy a new one with a different video card.

Add RAM to get to 4GBs. Try macsales.com

Also, get a 7200 rpm FW800 drive for storing media. also sold at macsales.
