Do I need an AJA Tri level sync box?

I'm shooting mostly 24p, editing in FCP with an ioHD box to master back to DVCPro tape. I've been cranking out DVDs for most projects, but on projects that require producing a tape master I have a DVCPro deck connected to the ioHD. Do I need to have the AJA Tri Level sync box?

Ok, not sure I'm following this... I shoot 24p, edit on a 24p timeline, then the ioHD downconverts to my DVCPro deck for the SD 30fps broadcast master. In this workflow I do or don't need the Tri-Level sync box?

If you are editing 24p/60 then you don't need it.
